Security Tips

- Use real shutters on your home, preferrably indoor shutters as well as the outdoor shutters. They don't have to be ugly, but they do have to be pretty strong, Think Hulk Hogan at your Window.
- Secure your door locks. Most modern homes have less than a one inch thick piece of wood that can easily be kicked in. Again, Think Hulk Hogan at your door, If it takes you six times to kick in a door... Ever seen the movies where they kick once and the door slams open like it was nothing? It really is that easy on most homes. Scary yet?
- Did you recently buy a new home [even older homes] ? Check the walls. One of the things that scared me the most when I was doing plumbing was that nearly all the new homes we worked on had walls that were a very thin piece of wood and/or usually vinyl siding with a 1/2 inch foam base on the outside. Between this is 2x4 inch pieces of wood spaced from 12 to 16 inches apart. On top of that, the inside of the house, Your average sheet rock. A wall that a new razor knife could get through very quickly. What is a strong door and lock and window system when something could come through your wall like it was paper.
- Have a firearm in the house. Teach everyone in the household on the details of proper safety and use of any weapons in your household. Most cities that have laws specific to the household owning a gun have the smallest crime rates.

- Zombies chasing you? don't want to have to fiddle with those damn keys to get entry to your place? finger scan! http://gokeyless.com/product.php?id=579&main=3

Always know your presense and that of the presense around you.

For all the possible instances while driving, a Person may already be looking around the vehicle that the person is driving. a Persons mind may usually only need a split second of visual time on an area to perceive what is seen. All other vehicles should possibly be under direct observation at all times. Assertions may be made on the observations of all the individual traffic around a person. All traffic under observation may be calculated with presumptions based upon perceived driving habits and perhaps basic stereotypes and what the individual in the other vehicle may or may not do. There may be no real rule or regulation for basis of stereotyipical assumptions of other drivers. During this time a constant vigil may be applied on all possible escape routes, on the many possible ways that traffic may merge together or spread apart and how a person may use those to their advantage in the worst situations of mayhem. One rule that may need to always be followed is to remember to drive defensively, not agressively. Your vehicle may last considerably longer when driven defensively. This possible fact may yet be proven on the worlds roads and highways!

The writer of this page has possibly lost momentum and will write more later and fix any grammar and spelling errors also at that time.
